Learn about the Space Foundation, our mission and our programs.

In 2012, we launched our new website, making information easier to find, more compelling to read.

In October, we opened the Northrop Grumman Science Center and the El Pomar Space Gallery.

After a year of research, we issued a report recommending that NASA establish pioneering as its core purpose.

Our team members and our Board of Directors work to advance space-related endeavors to inspire, enable and propel humanity.

The  28th National Space Symposium was the most global, largest and most exciting event we have had to date.

We are building the next generation of space leaders and improving the overall quality of education.

Policymakers, media, educators and space enthusiasts depend upon us for credible information on and analysis of the industry.

We educate policymakers about complex space-related topics and keep the industry well-informed on critical issues.

Promoting global collaboration and cooperation is one of the critical contributions the Space Foundation makes to the space community.

We build awareness of the benefits of space; our flagship programs are Space Certification™ and the Space Technology Hall of Fame®.

We help promising young space professionals learn about the business and advance their careers.

We annually present awards for achievements in space exploration, advocacy, education, innovation and accomplishment.

We broadened community outreach with events and activities, many related to our new headquarters and Visitors Center.

Corporate members provide support to help us deliver programs that advance space-related endeavors.

We depend - and deeply appreciate - the generosity of a wide variety of contributors... you can join them.

We're easy to reach ... and we'd like to hear from you.
