Space Foundation World Headquarters Facility Rental

Space Foundation World Headquarters in Colorado Springs offers a unique location for your event, whether it is a corporate conference or a casual meeting. We are conveniently located at 4425 Arrowswest Drive, just off of Garden of the Gods Road, west of Centennial Boulevard.

Rental space includes the Ackerman Conference Center, which provides a quiet, neutral venue that is ideal for executive meetings. Our four conference rooms can accommodate from 6 to 35 people. In addition to the Ackerman Conference Center, the adjoining Space Foundation Discovery Center provides a museum venue for larger events, and can accommodate up to 400 people. Full rental of the Discovery Center plus the Ackerman Conference Center allows space for 500 people.

The Conference Center and Discovery Center can host:

  • Business lunches and meetings
  • Corporate and private cocktail receptions
  • Holiday parties
  • Theme parties

The Ackerman Conference Center is made available at no cost, except for meals, to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and government agencies, and there may be a discounted fee for the use of the Space Foundation Discovery Center.

  1. Basic rental includes 4 hours total time (one hour set up, 2-hour meeting/event, one hour clean up) 
  2. This after-hours fee is in addition to the basic rental charges and is based on an 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. business day. 
  3. Available only in conjunction with renting either Area 51 or the Hill Conference Room, and is in addition to the room rental fee.  Includes the basic use of the Space Foundation Discovery Center and does not include guided tours or docent-led demonstrations of Science On a Sphere ® (SOS).  These add-ons can be arranged when scheduling your rental. The normal fee is $50.00 for a guided group tour, and $50.00 for a docent-led SOS demonstration or $100.00 for a team member-led SOS demonstration.
  4. Requires advanced approval by the Vice President – Education and Discovery and the Vice President – Operations
