Cheryl Ledford

Cheryl Ledford is responsible for creating reports, tracking and reporting on Space Foundation education programs activities and needs, as well as coordinating all education events in conjunction with the Education Programs Administrator and assisting other team members. She also manages the NASA Education Resource Center operations, supports education contracts and partnerships through logistics coordination and is responsible for the logistics involving meetings and activities at the Space Foundation Discovery Institute.
Prior to joining the Space Foundation, Ledford taught for 15 years at the elementary school level in Deerfield, Lakin and Syracuse, Kan., as well as in Fountain, Colo., and at Pikes Peak Christian School in Colorado Springs. She also taught two years of middle school language arts in Kansas, and has worked for several organizations in administrative positions, including banking and nonprofit organizations.
Ledford received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kan.
