How We Use Gifts
Inspire, Enable and Propel
Since 1983, the Space Foundation has been the champion of the space industry, providing a non-biased viewpoint; thorough and credible research and analysis; improving science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills; building awareness of the many benefits space brings to life on Earth; supporting the economically vital space industry; and helping young professionals achieve their dreams.
The Space Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization that depends on donations to continue our important mission to advance space-related endeavors to inspire, enable and propel humanity.
Your Donation to the Space Foundation Can

- Provide hands-on after-school and in-school STEM-focused STARS programs for children
- Bring communities and schools together through New Horizons programs
- Provide materials for hands-on technology teaching in the classroom
- Provide books, study guides, lesson plans - even robotics kits - to teachers, schools or libraries
- Help create a Space Foundation visitors center where people can learn about space, science and discovery
- Help create a Space Foundation library
- Preserve and protect precious space artifacts
- Help develop programs that shows the average citizen how technology improves our lives, thus encouraging investment in innovations that will change our universe, bring nations together and inspire humans to dream and explore
