Teachers show off their space suit designs during the Astrobiology 2009 Space Across the Curriculum course.
As we prepare to return to the moon and explore Mars, research is being conducted on the effects of space on the human body. This class explores advanced life support systems being developed on the International Space Station to keep astronauts safe from the hazards of space travel. Participants will learn how to incorporate these ideas into the classroom.
