Tours of Space Exhibits

Space Foundation Discovery Center

We have opportunities for classes and youth organizations to visit the Space Foundation Discovery Center, the region's first and only space, science and technology attraction. It is an interactive, museum-quality destination that advances space-based science, technology, engineering and mathematics (S-STEM) in the exciting context of space exploration, development and utilization.

The Discovery Center features the El Pomar Space Gallery, displaying the Space Foundation's collection of space artifacts. The Discovery Center is also home to our Lockheed Martin Space Education Center and the Northrop Grumman Science Center, featuring Science On a Sphere® and classroom/laboratory facilities for PreK through graduate-level courses, educator professional development, educational multimedia events and presentations for the general public.

The Space Foundation Discovery Center is the location for our Sphere SOS-based courses and a destination for class/youth group field trips and special programs.

Expansion plans for the future include a state-of-the-art interactive teaching auditorium and a Space Technology Hall of Fame®

Space Events

We can arrange tours of exhibits at space conferences, museums and trade shows - primarily for secondary school students. The most-sought-after tours are at the Space Foundation's annual Space Symposiumthe premier gathering of the global space community. The Space Symposium Exhibit Center offers a mind-boggling glimpse into the most innovative current and future space technologies and the customized destination booth visits give participants opportunities to learn from Space Foundation Corporate Member companies and organizations. Guided tours to specially designated "destination booths and displays" are usually folded into a larger, broader educational experience that represents a wide variety of aerospace programs, companies and organizations. Students of Space Foundation Teacher Liaisons receive first priority in scheduling Space Symposium student tours.
