Space Across the Curriculum:
Space Technologies in the Classroom - Robotics and Nanotechnology
This course will examine the numerous uses of space technologies in our society for the benefit of humankind. Through field trips and hands-on demonstrations, educators will receive an introduction to space transportation and design, robotics, communications, space power and space structure. Participants will build and explore a variety of space technologies, including constructing their own programmable robot, and they will learn about free space technologies for use in the classroom. Participants will also explore the field of nanotechnology and how it influences our lives today and in the future.
