Lord will be the featured speaker Thursday, 6 October at 11:30 a.m., and Cartwright will deliver remarks at the closing dinner that evening. This year's event features an expanded program addressing the full spectrum of the Command's mission, with particular attention to the space-enabled support of operational commands. Key sponsors of Strategic Space 2005 are the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and Lockheed Martin, co-sponsors of the Opening Ceremony and Reception; The Boeing Co., co-sponsor of the Keynote Luncheon; and Northrop Grumman, co-sponsor of the Strategic Space Dinner. Nearly 10,000 sq. feet has already been sold. Strategic Space 2005 addresses both the space-related and strategic missions of United States Strategic Command, expanding the ongoing dialogue since 2003 between the senior leadership of the Command, component and supported commands, the aerospace contractor community, federal officials and other leaders.
