Space Foundation Holds NRO Briefing

On July 11, the Space Foundation held a briefing in Washington, D.C., for Congressional staffers about recently declassified National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) programs which resulted in technologies and techniques being developed that were able to be applied and utilized in America's civilian space efforts.

Main presenters were:

  • Robert A. McDonald, Ph.D., Director, Center for the Study of National Reconnaissance
  • James D. Outzen, Ph.D., Center for the Study of National Reconnaissance

Attendees also included representatives from Space Foundation Corporate Member companies and from the executive branch departments and agencies.
