Space Foundation Launches Space Technology & Investment Forum

Written by: developer

The Space Foundation’s two-day by-invitation Space Technology & Investment Forum opened in San Francisco this morning, bringing together top venture capitalists and angel investors with space industry experts to explain the technical, legal and business issues critical to market analysis and risk assessment.

Successful space industry CEOs and founders of new space startups are sharing their experiences with securing funding, and identifying creative financing solutions to launch new products and services.

While moderating this morning’s panel (pictured) “Hot Niches and Why They’re Hot,” speaker Sunil Nagaraj, Vice President, Bessemer Venture Partners, said, “The people in this room represent a magical group who can accelerate or decelerate the future of the space industry.”

At the close of tomorrow’s program, there will be a StartUp Showcase Reception where the Forum attendees can learn more about the featured startups, while also networking with some of the most innovative, insightful and visionary individuals from the investment sectors of space and technology.
