Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company Receives Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award

SIMSBURY, Conn. (Jan. 17, 2013) – Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company(EBA&D) today announced that it has received a 2012 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. EBA&D maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month
performance period, from Oct. 1, 2011, to Sept. 30, 2012.

This year, Boeing recognized 594 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. EBA&D is one of 441 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.

“It is great to be recognized for the teamwork and achievements resulting from the strong Boeing/Ensign-Bickford relationship,” said Robert Ennis, Director of Aerospace Programs for EBA&D. “We work hard to
exceed Boeing’s expectations.”

EBA&D supplies ordnance to Boeing for several programs.
