Astronaut Panel at Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum

On Saturday, Jan. 12, Vice President - Marketing and Communications Janet Stevens moderated a panel of astronauts, including:
- CAPT Jeffry Ashby, USN, Ret., pilot of Space Shuttle missions STS-93, STS-100 and STS 112
- Gen. Kevin Chilton, USAF, Ret., pilot of Space Shuttle missions STS-49 and STS-59 and commander of Space Shuttle mission STS-76 and former commander of the U.S. Strategic Command
- Col. James Dutton, USAF, pilot of Space Shuttle mission STS-131
The presentation was part of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum's To the Moon: Snoopy Soars with NASA exhibit.
The Space Foundation is partnering with the Museum to support the special traveling exhibit from the Charles M. Schulz Museum, which examines the history of Apollo 10 and the role characters from Schulz's popular Peanuts comic strip played in that flight and in the NASA Manned Flight Awareness safety program. The Space Foundation is supporting the exhibit by providing space spin-off products for display, graphics, an exhibit model, guest lecturers, promotional support and children's interactive activities.
