Fairbanks, Alaska, New Horizons - Feb. 11

The Space Foundation conducted a New Horizons education program in Fairbanks, Alaska, coordinated by Teacher Liaison Marci Ward and sponsored by local businesses and the Fairbanks Northstar Borough School District. On Monday, Feb.11, the Space Foundation visited Two Rivers Elementary School and Weller Elementary School. Space Foundation Special Advisor - Human Spaceflight and former NASA Astronaut Dr. Leroy Chiao spoke to students at Two Rivers and did a Q&A session at Weller. He also did an interview on KTVF-TV Channel 11. S
