This Space Foundation Space Across the Curriculum professional development course for teachers, held June 18-22, 2012, in Colorado Springs, Colo., examined the different areas of meteorology and how to incorporate them into the classroom. Hands-on lessons taught meteorology along with a trip to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
