Panel to Discuss Emerging Applications
As the space industry becomes more international and more diversified, it reaches into more segments of the economy and has more impact on the overall information infrastructure and financial climate. A high-level panel of space leaders and economic experts will address this natural outcome of an evolving business sector at the 26th National Space Symposium this April 12-15 at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The Emerging Applications Across the Space-Based Value Chain panel is being presented in association with EuroConsult, an independent investment banking firm specializing in mergers, acquisitions, company sales, and corporate divestitures involving global multinational corporations, prominent mid-sized companies, and leading private equity firms. The relationship between the Space Foundation and EuroConsult underscores the increasingly international nature of the National Space Symposium.
Led by Steve Bochinger, director of Institutional Affairs for EuroConsult and managing director for EuroConsult North America, the panel will feature five senior members of leading international corporations:
- John Celli, president and chief operating officer, Space Systems/Loral
- Brian Holz, executive vice president and chief technology officer, O3B Networks USA, LLC
- John K. Hornsby, Ph.D., general manager, MDA Geospatial Services
- Dara A. Panahy, partner, Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP
- Colin Paynter, head of Business Growth, Astrium Satellites
As director of institutional affairs for EuroConsult and managing director of Euroconsult North America, Steve Bochingerconsults with public institutions, military agencies, space agencies, industry companies, and satellite operators in the space and satellite communication markets.
