SGAC Fusion Forum 2014 Leads into Space Symposium
Each year, the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) holds its international Space Generation Fusion Forum in conjunction with the Space Symposium. This year, Fusion Forum was held May 18 and 19 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
Fusion Forum's interactive panel discussions, moderated by international space sector leaders, cover the perspectives of tomorrow's space leaders on today's global space topics. Participation is limited to a group of up to 50 top young adults chosen from international applicants representing government, industry and academia.
Based in Vienna, Austria, SGAC is a non-governmental organization representing students and young space professionals in the space sector to the United Nations, space agencies, industry and academia. SGAC has permanent observer status in the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS), and was conceived at the Third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Space (UNISPACE-III) in Vienna in 1999. SGAC currently has a network of 5,000 university students and young professionals in the space sector in over 90 countries.
