Space Certification Program News
The Space Foundation's Certified Space Technology program had a busy and productive April, welcoming a new technology and promoting an existing certified partner.
The Space Foundation is pleased to welcome iShoe as a Certified Space Technology. iShoe is a patent-pending insole based on technology originally developed to facilitate astronaut balance during a moon landing. Partially based on insights into neural human balance control aboard the Mir space station, iShoe technology enables early diagnosis and monitoring of deteriorating balance. iShoe provides a diagnostic readout to the wearer or clinician through a computer interface.
In other certified space technology news, Space Foundation Director of Space Awareness Programs Kevin C. Cook discussed the Space Certification Program relationship between Axiom Worldwide, X-1R Advance Lubricants, and the Space Foundation in an interview with Sigmund Miller, D.C., executive director for the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors and senior editor for Chiroview Presents. Chiroview Presents, an educational site for the chiropractic community, features podcasts and Webinars that reach more than 40,000 Chiropractors, educators and students. The interview with Cook is available on the Axiom Worldwide Web site at www.axiomworldwide.com.
