Track Sessions to Explore Strategy, Solutions The Strategic Space Symposium will provide attendees with extraordinary opportunities to learn about, discuss, and provide input into space strategy to support warfighters' needs. The three concurrent track sessions will provide the best opportunity for discussion and debate. Featuring top industry, government, and military leaders, each of the small, informal sessions will be offered three times to allow everyone to attend each one. The sessions and their moderators are listed below (click on the name for more information on the speaker).

Track A: Improving Integration of Space Effects:

  • Environmental Monitoring Breakout: Lt. Col. Jeff Cox, USAF, Air Force Weather Agency

Track B: Determining the Value of Responsive Space as an Element of our National Space Strategy:

  • What is our National Space Strategy for ORS? Breakout: Col. Patrick Frakes, USA, director for Space Policy and Information Operations, Office of the Secretary of Defense
  • How Should the DoD Posture Acquisitions for ORS? Breakout: Capt. Brian N. Humm, USN, chief, Global ISR and Space Division, United States Strategic Command 

Track C: Challenges to Implementing Data Sharing for Space Situational Awareness:

  • Leader: Maj. Gen. Susan J. Helms, USAF, director, Plans and Policy, United States Strategic Command  
  • Panelist: Bruce L. Allen, Office of the Director of National Intelligence
  • Panelist: David A. Anhalt, senior director, Advanced Programs, Orbital Sciences Corporation
  • Panelist: Dawn R. Eilenberger, director, Office of International Affairs and Policy, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
  • Panelist: William Schuster, chief operating officer, GeoEye
  • Panelist:. Kelli L. Seybolt, division chief for Space and Cyberspace Cooperation, Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs
