Space Achievement Award: 28th National Space Symposium
The Space Foundation's Space Achievement Award recognizes individuals or organizations that have demonstrated space achievement, breakthrough space technology or program or product success representing critical milestones in the evolution of space exploration and development. The Space Achievement Award is presented annually at the National Space Symposium.
The 2012 recipient is Junichiro Kawaguchi, Ph.D., Senior Fellow at Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), who was program director, Lunar & Planetary Exploration Program Group for JAXA. Read about the award here.
