Microcide Incorporated

Microcide Incorporated

Microcide was incorporated in 1990 with a primary objective to develop unique nontoxic and environmentally safe microbicidal products for personal care, public health, food and agriculture industries through research and development. Microcide has become an Affiliate Partner of the NASA Food Technology Commercial Space Center at the Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, U.S.A.

After years of research has uncovered hidden germ-killing properties of safe, non-toxic and biodegradable chemical ingredients, most classified as GRAS, (Generally Regarded As Safe) and/or are considered FOOD ADDITIVE. The use of products made with these ingredients can eliminate direct and indirect harmful effects caused by antimicrobial agents containing chlorine, chlorinated products, phenols, cresol, heavy metals, certain quaternary ammonium compounds, and other toxic chemical agents on health and environment.

Major role of these patented products is to control both drug sensitive and resistant infectious and spoilage microorganisms. These products can help to maintain good health, wholesome food and clean and safe environment at an affordable cost. We are working with NASA Food Technology for Commercial Space Center for safety of food during space travel. The US Navy is using our PRO-SAN sanitizer and produce wash onboard submarines. Our products are widely distributed in food industry, personal and health care.
