TEA, Inc. (dba RemQuest)

Toxicological and Environmental Associates (TEA, Inc.) headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA is a professional environmental consulting firm specializing in the design and implementation of green and sustainable environmental remediation and restoration systems; toxicological and risk-based services; and litigation support and expert witness services. TEA, Inc. has served its clients throughout the United States and Canada since 1996. Our clientele include chemical and petro chemical facilities, oil and gas companies, major law firms and federal and state agencies, as well as commercial and industrial clients.

RemQuest, the R&D and products division of TEA, Inc. provides specialty environmental remediation products and technologies to accurately delineate, remediate and close contaminated sites on time and within budget.  These unique products provide green and sustainable solutions for a wide variety of complex cleanup challenges, including; source area DNAPL (e.g. PCE, TCE, CT), dissolved phase chlorinated organics (e.g. PCE, TCE, DCE, and VC), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), petroleum hydrocarbons and oil spill remediation. RemQuest is also the leader in applying innovative technologies to characterize surface and subsurface environments at remediation sites.  Through a unique combination of active and passive remote sensing instruments, that are integrated with a highly precise navigation system,  we are able to collect engineering quality surface data, as well as subsurface information and accurately geo-locate all remotely acquired information.  Additionally, we apply a unique subsurface assessment technology that characterizes anomalies in magnetic fields due to electrical flow associated with groundwater to delineate preferential groundwater flow.  These technologies enhance remediation efficacy by enabling us to focus on the critical areas of the site first with strategically designed remedial approaches that will minimize long term cost of ownership for our clients.

TEA, Inc. (dba RemQuest) holds NASA license agreements for Emulsified Zero-Valent Iron (EZVI), an injectable product for in-situ remediation of DNAPLs in soils and groundwater, and Activated Metal Treatment System (AMTS), used to extract and destroy PCBs.
