Volunteer at the Space Foundation Discovery Center
If you are interested in space, the Space Foundation Discovery Center is the place to be. You can do meaningful work that contributes directly to the Space Foundation mission: to advance space-related endeavors to inspire, enable and propel humanity. Plus, you can help create a positive experience for students, tourists and neighbors who visit us.
We have openings for volunteers to serve as docents, to handle light security duties and to staff the Space Foundation Discovery Center reception desk.
If you have a background in the space industry or if you have museum experience, that's great, but it is not required. We provide all necessary training and support.

Are You Holding onto a Piece of Space History?
We are always seeking relevant space artifacts and memorabilia to add to the Space Foundation collection so that we can expand our exhibits - and continue to build knowledge and understanding of the important contributions space exploration and utilization have made to humankind. If you would like to donate or loan space artifacts or memorabilia to the Space Foundation collection, contact Kelly Shelton at Donations@SpaceFoundation.org, +1.719.576.8000 or +1.800.691.4000.
So that we can properly care for your valuable artifacts, please contact us to discuss potential donations or loans. Please do not drop items off at our offices.
