It's Not Too Late to Give Your Child an Explore Space Experience this Summer

Written by: developer

There are still some openings in the Space Foundation’s summer Explore Space Experience program. Four week-long sessions are offered June 12 – July 20 for children ages nine through 14.

Your future explorers will enjoy a variety of hands-on, immersive activities and experiences based on space and science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM). The sessions are held at the Space Foundation Discovery Center in Colorado Springs, 4425 Arrowswest Drive, located just minutes from Garden of the Gods park.

Some sessions are full, but there are still openings in “I heART Space,” where young aspiring artists and designers will embark on a creative journey combining art and space. There are also openings in “Sci-Fi World,” where young explorers will use some of the latest technology to learn about and develop connections between sci-fi movies and real-world space technologies.

Pricing and complete details for Explore Space Experience can be found here.
