Space Security and Defense Program to Receive 2018 Space Achievement Award

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Feb. 27, 2018) – The Space Foundation has selected the Space Security and Defense Program to receive its 2018 Space Achievement Award for bringing space survivability and protection to the forefront of national leadership. The award annually recognizes individuals or organizations for critical milestones in the evolution of space exploration and development. 

The 2018 Space Achievement Award will be presented on April 16 during the opening ceremony of the 34th Space Symposium at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., USA. The opening ceremony is co-sponsored by Northrop Grumman, and features presentation of top Space Foundation awards.
