Space Foundation to Host Free Webinar with Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Space Operations, May 6

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 29, 2020) — In partnership with the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force and the U.S. Space Force, Space Foundation is hosting a webinar titled, “America’s Space Force: Building the Future Today,” featuring Secretary of the Air Force Barbara M. Barrett and Chief of Space Operations Gen. John W. “Jay” Raymond, on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, beginning at 11:00 a.m. (EST). This exclusive discussion will cover the current state of the Space Force, operational priorities over the next year, and views on a number of pertinent issues.

The webinar will open with comments by Space Foundation CEO Tom Zelibor, Rear Admiral, USN (Ret.). Sec. Barrett and Gen. Raymond are expected to share significant news related to the new U.S. Space Force and to deliver information originally intended to be shared at the postponed 36th Space Symposium, now rescheduled for Oct. 31 – Nov. 2. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
