  • "Confessions of an Unflown Astronaut" with Livingston L Holder, Jr. has moved to 2:00 p.m.
  • "The First Space Race" with Matt Bille has moved to 4:00 p.m.
  • Ice Cream Treats will be available from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Beginning Tuesday, June 4, the Space Foundation Discovery Center will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the Summer of Discovery! Each week will focus on a specific theme, culminating with a full day of special activities and events planned for each Saturday. Bring your family and friends and join in the fun - we've brought Space down to Earth for all to enjoy!

NOTE: The Space Foundation Discovery Center will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2013, in observance of Independence Day.

Red, White and Blue

Since its beginning the space program captured the world's attention. Sputnik issued the challenge and the "Red, White & Blue" rose to the challenge to put men on the moon!

Twins Nell and Nique (Donell and Domonique Hargrove) were born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. They attended Monacan High School where they excelled in athletics and went on to play at the collegiate level at Virginia State University, where they both received Bachelor Degrees in Mass Communication/ Public Relations, Radio and TV. Donell and Domonique remained at VSU and finished their Master Degree's in Sport Management. They both have shared a passion and love for music since childhood and in 2005 they chose to move forward seriously with their gift for music, writing songs, and production. Their Super Power Music campaign has successfully started a major grass roots promotion to connect their music with the hearts of both young and old globally.
