27th National Space Symposium Starts MondayCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Apr. 8, 2011) — The 27th National Space Symposium and the companion Cyber 1.1 event starts Monday, April 11, at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo. The uncertainty created by the potential of a government shutdown this week may result in some changes in the agenda, but the program will continue as planned. This year’s events include almost 100 speakers, inspiring awards, the Boeing Exhibit Center’s new Lower Level and outdoor Showroom, programs for New Generation young space professionals, special programs, such as the Industry Salutes the Space Shuttle luncheon, and events for teachers and students.

Online registration closed April 8 at noon, but walk-in registrations will be accepted starting at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, in the International Center at The Broadmoor. For rates and registration information, click here.

The Space Foundation will gladly reinstate registrants who cancelled in anticipation of a government shutdown, but will not be able to issue refunds; conference hotels have indicated that they will not refund deposits or prepaid room fees.

The 27th National Space Symposium runs April 11-14, 2011, at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo. We hope to see you there.
