Helps Furnish Space Foundation Discovery Institute

Colorado Technical University Makes DonationColorado Technical University (CTU) has donated tables, chairs and furnishings valued at more than $20,000 to help continue development of the Space Foundation Discovery Institute.

Opened in 2009 at 105 Coleridge Ave. in Colorado Springs, the Space Foundation Discovery Institute provides space- and aerospace-themed professional development, training, and support for teachers and students from around the world. It serves as the base location for the Space Foundation's education programs and houses classrooms, an Educator Resource Center, and the AGI Space Missions Simulator. It is adjacent to the Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy, an aerospace-themed middle school created through a partnership between the Space Foundation and Colorado Springs School District 11.

Since 1965, Colorado Technical University has been at the forefront of higher education. Students can choose from a wide range of innovative bachelor's, leadership-focused master's and executive-format doctoral degree programs - on campus or online. Degrees and concentrations include the fields of: business and management, engineering, computer science, criminal justice, health sciences and information technology. CTU professors are focused on helping students succeed personally, academically and professionally. CTU has Colorado campuses in Colorado Springs, Denver, Pueblo and Westminster, as well as out-of-state campuses in North Kansas City, Mo., and Sioux Falls, S.D.
