Discovery Center Store Offers Space Merchandise

The Discovery Center Store opened in May with a special ribbon-cutting and has quickly become a popular stop for students, families and children visiting the Discovery Center. The Discovery Center Store is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
There are a variety of space-related gifts and souvenirs to choose from including:
Astronaut Role Play Set- Space Foundation hats and a variety of T-shirts
- Ceramic mugs emblazened with aliens and spaceships
- Fun science kits and models
- Astronaut food such as neopolitan ice cream, cookies and cream ice cream sandwiches and even strawberries
- Beautiful Space Shuttle posters
- Books for both children and adults
Travis Schenck, Space Foundation Discovery Center Director says, “We want to expand our selection of products in the future to include space technology and products from the Space Foundation’s certified partner companies.”
Proceeds support the Space Foundation’s space awareness and education programs.
