Teachers: Bring the Universe to Students' Fingertips

The new Hubble 3D IMAX® 3D space film, which Space Watch reported on last month (to see article, click here), offers teachers an opportunity to treat students to the ultimate field trip. Through the power of the film, classes can journey through distant galaxies to explore the mysteries of our celestial surroundings, accompany space-walking astronauts as they attempt the most difficult tasks in NASA history, and experience never-before-seen 3D flights through Hubble imagery.

Click here to download classroom activities inspired by the film to further extend the learning experience into the classroom. Curriculum tie-ins include science and technology, communication, critical thinking, and more.

Hubble 3D is the seventh awe-inspiring film from the award-winning IMAX® Space Team. Through the power of IMAX® 3D, Hubble 3D looks into the Hubble Space Telescope's legacy and highlights its profound impact on the way we view the universe and ourselves. Narrated by actor Leonardo DiCaprio, Hubble 3D was produced in cooperation with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
