Written by: developer

Declared in 1999 by the United Nations, World Space Week is celebrated internationally each year Oct. 4 through Oct. 10. World Space Week is one of the largest public space events on Earth, with more than 1,800 events in 73 countries celebrating the benefits and exploration of space, according to the World Space Week organization. The theme for the 2016 event is “Remote Sensing – Enabling Our Future.”

Here are seven days of spaced-out activities for everyone, from the young, to the young at heart. Follow the Space Foundation on Pinterest for more space crafts, themed food and STEM activities all year round!
