Space Foundation Donates More than 1000 lbs of Food to Local Food Bank
In December, the Space Foundation hosted two food drives supporting Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado. The first food drive encouraged visitors to the Discovery Center in Colorado Springs to bring in a nonperishable food item in exchange for $2 off admission. The second was a “friendly” in-office competition, which involved pitting department against department in a competition to collect the greatest amount of food in a two-week period. READ MORE »
Space Foundation Launches CEO Search
The Space Foundation Board of Directors has begun a global search to fill the leadership position of Chief Executive Officer.The CEO will be based at Space Foundation World Headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo., to lead a premier team of 50 professionals, providing advocacy and education services to the space industry, educators and students, government officials and news media around the world. ULA Partners with AFA and Space Foundation for StellarXplorers
United Launch Alliance (ULA) has joined forces with the Space Foundation and other, key sponsors to support the Air Force Association's (AFA) StellarXplorers program.  Each year, schools from across the U.S., and from overseas Department of Defense locations, participate in the space design competition.
