The Space Foundation is a global, nonprofit leader in space awareness activities, educational programs that bring space into the classroom and major industry events.

The Space Foundation has two facilities in our headquarters city of Colorado Springs, Colo., an office in Washington, D.C., and field representatives in Texas and Florida.

In 1983, a group of visionary leaders established the Space Foundation to bring together America's developing space community and serve as a credible source of information for a broad audience

Our revenues are provided by events, donations, product sales, contract revenues and grants; as a nonprofit organization, we depend upon supporting organizations and individual donors.

We work with organizations from around the world that share our passion for space and our mission for advancing space-related endeavors, improving STEM education and promoting the benefits of space.
