WHAT:
The Centennial of Flight Celebration conference for educators and students. The Space Foundation was recognized by the United States Centennial of Flight Commission as the host for Centennial of Flight, and has teamed up with the United States Air Force Academy and NASA to offer educators and students an exciting educational workshop filled with hands-on activities, knowledge, and historical importance. More than 200 teachers and 3,000 students are registered to attend.

Both educators and students will better understand the history of flight, what has transpired over the last 100 years, and how history drives the future of flight.

Guest speaker is Erik Lindbergh, grandson of Charles Lindbergh and trustee and vice president of the X PRIZE Foundation. He will share his own flight experiences and new developments with the XPRIZE competition.

WHEN & WHERE:
Thursday, Nov. 6 and 7 at the United States Air Academy, Aeronautics Department in Fairchild Hall, Colorado Springs.
