Chilton, Dodgen to speak at Strategic Space 2005

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Sep. 15, 2005) — The Space Foundation today confirmed that Lt Gen Kevin P. Chilton, USAF, commander, 8th Air Force, and joint functional component commander, Space & Global Strike, and LTG Larry J. Dodgen, USA, commander, United States Army Space & Missile Defense Command, and joint functional component commander, Integrated Missile Defense, will speak at Strategic Space 2005. The conference takes place 4-6 October at the Qwest Center Omaha Convention Center and Arena.

Chilton and Dodgen will be the featured panelists on the Joint Functional Component Commands mega-panel Wednesday, 5 October at 10:15 a.m. Brig Gen Richard Y. Newton, III, USAF, director of Plans & Policy, United States Strategic Command, will serve as moderator.

This year’s program addresses the full spectrum of the Command’s mission, with particular attention to the space-enabled support of operational commands. Other topics to be covered during Strategic Space 2005 include
