Call for Tech Track Paper Abstracts

The Tech Track of the Space Foundation’s annual Space Symposium has gained growing popularity primarily due to the diverse ideas and technologies that are discussed. Audience members receive the opportunity to expand their space industry knowledge by engaging in dialogue with the technical experts who authored the papers. 

The Space Foundation is now accepting abstracts for papers for the 33rd Space Symposium Tech Track, to be held April 3-6, 2017, at The Broadmoor (pictured) in Colorado Springs, Colo., USA. This premier global space conference annually attracts thousands of space professionals from dozens of countries.

Abstracts will be accepted until Nov. 18, 2016, and authors will be notified of acceptance by Jan. 13, 2017.

Presentations are welcome on technology developments with applications for civil, commercial, entrepreneurial and national security fields. The emphasis should be on recent activities or emerging technologies.

  • Software solutions
  • Satellites
  • Launches

Key dates for authors:

Nov. 18, 2016:  Abstracts due
Jan. 13, 2017:  Notification and detailed presenter instructions sent to authors via email
Feb. 3, 2017:  Deadline for author to confirm attendance
March 24, 2017:  Full papers due
March 31, 2017:  Presentations due
April 3, 2017:  Tech Track presentations at the 33rd Space Symposium
