Space Foundation to Offer Free Space Commerce Workshop for Minority Business Owners

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 18, 2019) — The Space Foundation is hosting a one-day Space Commerce Training Program in Orlando, Fla., funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency. Registration for the workshop will be free to Minority-Owned, Women-Owned and Veteran-Owned businesses.
Industry experts will discuss emerging business opportunities and address challenges in entering the space industry. Featured workshop presenters are:

- Mo Kanwischer, Space Commerce Strategic Advisor
- Kelli Kedis Ogborn, Strategic Programs Advisor
Topics will include:
- Positioning Your Company or Product
- Scaling and Strategy

This Space Commerce Training Program will be held at National Entrepreneur Center, 3201 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, on Wednesday, Aug. 21, and lunch and a networking reception are included. This is one of a series of training workshops the Space Foundation is holding around the country to help companies address the most common challenges faced in entering the space industry.
