Evan Loomis

Evan Loomis is an early-stage venture investor at Overmatch, focusing on deeptech, defense, and space. He co-founded ICON, a pioneering construction technology company that 3D-printed the first home in the United States and partnered with NASA to build the first lunar habitat. Evan also co-founded Wedgwood Circle, TreeHouse, and Saturn Five. He serves as an advisor at DARPA, a board member of the Texas Space Commission, and an Executive Professor at Texas A&M Mays Business School.

Evan is the author of “Get Backed” (2015), a book on startup fundraising published by Harvard Business Press. He holds a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, and he lives in Austin, TX, with his wife, Dr. Brandi Loomis, a pediatrician, and their four children.
