Shawn Jarrett

Shawn Jarrett is the Director of Strategy and M&A at Lockheed Martin Space, based in
Colorado, focused on leading all aspects of the strategic planning, competitive
intelligence, and inorganic growth strategy for the firm.
In his current role, Shawn is responsible for defining and executing the Space enterprise
strategy, guiding portfolio investment decisions, and leading the annual strategic
planning process. Shawn also leads the inorganic strategy across the LM Space portfolio
including M&A, venture capital, minority investments, and strategic partnerships. Shawn
partners with leaders across the firm’s defense, intelligence, civil and commercial space
portfolios to accelerate their strategy and drive growth across the company.
Over the last 15 years, Shawn has led teams across several strategy functions, including
Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy and Market Intelligence
within the Aerospace & Defense industry. Most recently, Shawn was the Vice President
of Investor Relations at Sierra Space, where he led all capital markets activities. Prior to
his strategy roles, Shawn held a variety of engineering positions within the A&D industry
supporting domestic and international ISR missions.
Shawn holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a Master’s in Systems
Engineering from George Washington University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in
Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas.
