Kevin O’Neil is a motivated and courageous serial entrepreneur from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Kevin O’Neil is the founder and CEO of ONE Funds, established in 2022. In his role, Kevin is responsible for guiding the direction, growth, and investment strategy of ONE Funds. He also serves on the Investment Committee and oversees all fund operations and investments. Simultaneously, Kevin partnered with Bow River Capital, to stand up ONE Bow River (OBR), a Department of Defense Fund (DoD), focusing on aligning entrepreneurs with the DoD counterparts to accelerate innovation. The $500 million defense fund, closed in less than a year and is the first DoD and largest SBIC fund in Colorado.

Before starting ONE Funds and ONE Bow River, Kevin successfully managed numerous personal investments in private equity, venture capital and real estate. Hailing from Colorado Springs, Kevin is a driven and fearless serial entrepreneur who is dedicated to achieving success and making a positive impact on the community. His entrepreneurial journey began in the textile industry and distressed multi- family real estate and later expanded into aerospace and defense private equity in 2008 with the acquisition of Braxton Technologies. Kevin has been the CEO of the O’Neil Group, a RIA and FINRA compliant company, which he also founded in 2008. The O’Neil Group has made investments in over 100 companies. In late 2020, alongside the O’Neil Group, Kevin managed the asset liquidation of BSTG to Parsons Corporation along with 7 other BSTG acquired companies. Since exiting BSTG, Kevin has managed various additional investments in the Aerospace and Defense sector.

In 2015, Kevin founded Catalyst Campus in downtown Colorado Springs. This collaborative ecosystem brings together small businesses (as large as 1500 employees), entrepreneurs, startups, and venture capital in the aerospace and defense industry to foster community, workforce development, innovation, and business growth. Since its inception, the nonprofit – Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation (CCTI) has generated over twelve hundred jobs and had a local economic impact of six hundred million dollars. CCTI has become a critical component in the advancement of technologies for the Air Force, Space Force, and other defense branches and government agencies.

Kevin is deeply committed to the prosperity of Southern Colorado. He takes great pride in his donation to the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs; Kevin W. O’Neil Education & Research Center and is passionate about making investments that will have a meaningful and lasting impact on the region.

Kevin graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs in 1990. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was honored as the 2019 Business Citizen of the Year by the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC. Over the past few years, Kevin has served as Board Chair for Employers Council and was selected to participate and serve on the Air and Space Forces Civic Leader Program. In 2023, Kevin was invited and is currently serving as a board member on the Air Force Academy Foundation Board.
