Highly Interactive Sessions will Solicit Recommendations

Track and Breakout Sessions Invite Participation A special feature of the Strategic Space Symposium is the Track Sessions and associated Breakout Sessions, which give attendees unprecedented access to military and industry leaders plus the opportunity to participate in in-depth conversations about critical issues and, as appropriate, to make recommendations and offer solutions. 

The Track and, where applicable, Breakout Sessions will be repeated throughout the two-day meeting, Nov. 2 - 4 at the Qwest Center Omaha, to give attendees a chance to participate in a broad array of discussions.  The scheduled Sessions and their moderators are:

Track: Improving Integration of Space Effects

Track: Determining the Value of Responsive Space as an Element of Our National Space Strategy (led by Peter M. Wegner, Ph.D. director - Operationally Responsive Space Office, United States Department of Defense)
Associated Breakout Sessions:
How Should the Department of Defense Posture Acquisitions for Operationally Responsive Space? (led by Capt. Brian N. Humm, USN, chief, Global ISR and Space Division, USSTRATCOM)
Session to be determined (led by Col. Thomas A. Doyne, USAF, deputy director, Space Programs and Policy, Office of the Secretary of Defense)

Track: Policy/Strategy Challenges to Implementing Data Sharing (led by Maj. Gen. Susan J. Helms, USAF, (pictured) director, Plans and Policy, USSTRATCOM)
