COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.(Jul. 30, 2004) — With still more than two months before the conference begins, more than 30 industry companies featuring the latest in technologies, systems and solutions supporting the United States Strategic Command have secured a space to display their wares in the more than 8,000-sq. ft. exhibit hall at Strategic Space 2004, filling it to capacity. The national security conference takes place 5-7 October 2004 at Omaha’s Qwest Convention Center and Arena. “Space News and the Space Foundation are working together to make the second Strategic Space conference even more successful than the first,” said Lon Rains, vice president, Trade Publishing – editorial, Imaginova and editor, Space News. “The strong commitment of the most senior leaders in the military, the aerospace industry and government to speak at Strategic Space, the significant support we have received for event sponsorships and the sold out exhibit hall all demonstrate how quickly the momentum for this event is growing to provide the strongest support possible for America’s strategic forces.” Strategic Space 2004 is presented in support of United States Strategic Command by the Space Foundation and Space News. The conference is designed to further the relationship between senior leadership of the Command, component and supported commands, the aerospace contractor community, federal officials and other civic leaders.
