Space Certification has a New Website

Written by: developer

The Space Foundation’s Space Certification program has a new website. Go to www.spaceconnection.org to find out about the program, to see descriptions of Cerified Products, and to apply for Space Certification if your company offers a product that was originally developed for space, was improved by space utilization, or is used to increase awareness or understanding of space.

There are three classifications of Space Foundation Certified Products:

Certified Technology Products
A product or service that directly results from space technology or space program development such that the product exists because of advances in space technology. Certified Space Technologies comprise the largest group of certified partners; examples include HEATSHEETS, GPS, and Tempur-Pedic foam mattresses. To see Certified Technology Products, click here.

Certified Educational Products
A product used in educational environments to stimulate interest and knowledge about Space. Education is key to the mission of the Space Foundation and supporting these products inspires each new generation. Examples of Certified Space Educational Products are the Challenger Learning Centers and the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center. To see Certified Educational Products, click here.

Certified Imagination Products
A toy or entertainment product used to increase interest in and excitement for space. Examples of Certified Imagination Products include the colorful book, I Am A Space Shuttle, I LOVE TO FLY, and the NORAD Tracks Santa program. To see Certified Imagination Products, click here.
