She began working part time for the Space Foundation 15 months ago and, since completing her degree, is now on board full time.
Bobby Gagnon, aerospace education specialist, has earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in space studies from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Gagnon has worked for the Space Foundation for two years and was previously a public school teacher for eight years. As an aerospace education specialist, Gagnon teaches educators through the Space Across the Curriculum courses; heads the Space Foundation Teacher Liaison program; and writes space-related lessons for teachers to use in their classrooms. He monitors trends in the space industry and serves as a liaison between the industry and the education field.

To quality for application as a CMP, individuals must have a proven history of experience in meeting management, show proof of participation in continuing education, have membership in a professional organization, and make professional contributions to the field.
