A New Generation of Space Leaders Meet Mentors at Symposium
Written by: developer
The annual Space Symposium features events, mentoring and networking opportunities specifically aimed at young space professionals age 35 or younger.
Workshops, luncheons and presentations help New Generation participants understand critical space issues, such as how policy and budgets are developed. Multiple networking events bring young professionals together with senior leaders in an informal environment. Plus, the daily Space Symposium master moderators are selected from the New Generation ranks.
SpaceSLAM
A new networking opportunity will be offered this year for New Generation participants. SpaceSLAM is a competition between space enthusiasts and professionals in front of a live audience for applause, bragging rights and prizes.
SpaceSLAM is part of the Space Foundation's New Generation Initiatives and is co-sponsored by SLS and Orion Industry Team, with host Hans Davies, Senior Associate at Toffler Associates, and special guest Bill Nye.
