Reserve Space Now for Dec. 12 Homeschool Day
Written by: developer
In November, 47 homeschool students attended the Space Foundation Discovery Center’s first Homeschool Day, where activites included a basic engineering lesson with the design, construction and testing of simple aerodynamic landers (pictured top) and a session in Science On a Sphere® (pictured below).
Homeschool Day at the Discovery Center uses hands-on science activities to reinforce learning about space and STEM subjects — science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Homeschool Day will be offered one day each month, with new themes and activities designed to engage learners on all levels. The next Homeschool Day will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Activities are included in general admission to the Discovery Center.
To reserve a space in the Dec. 12 Homeschool Day activities, please email [email protected].
