Mid-term Update

Written by: developer

by Space Foundation Vice President - Washington Operations Brendan Curry

Due to the mid-term elections, there can be expected some impact to U.S. space policy in the coming 114th Congress, which will be seated early next calendar year.

And due to a number of Members of Congress either being defeated or retiring, the various committees that have jurisdiction over civil space, national security space and intelligence will have new members, chairmen and ranking members.

December and part of January will be spent by both Republicans and Democrats making decisions on how they populate these committees. Some will not see much change, while others will. The Space Foundation Washington Operations team will be tracking these changes and will update as appropriate.
