Governor Delivers State of the State Address in Colorado Springs

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper was in Colorado Springs today to deliver his State of the State address. The address took place during a luncheon at the Antlers Hotel, hosted by the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation. The audience included a range of local and regional community leaders representing industry, education and government.
 
As expected, the Governor echoed and expanded on topics he addressed during his speech this past January in Denver when he called for infrastructure improvements, including the Interstate 25 corridors north and south of Denver, health care, education and overall economic development. The Governor also made reference to the importance and impact of the aerospace industry.
