SNC Hosts Virtual Lunch Between Former Astronauts & Two Make-A-Wish Teens

Written by: Space Foundation Editorial Team

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), the global aerospace and national security leader owned by Eren and Fatih Ozmen, is honored to team up with Make-A-Wish Denver to grant two teens their wish on Tuesday, February 2nd. Janet Kavandi, Steve Lindsey and Lee “Bru” Archambault, former astronauts who now head the Dream Chaser® spaceplane program at SNC, will have a virtual lunch with two Denver-area teens who are interested in space. The astronauts will buy the teens lunch and discuss what their experience was like in space, share details about SNC’s Dream Chaser program and host a Q&A session.

The challenging circumstances we are experiencing inspired Make-A-Wish to think creatively about how to bring hope and joy to Make-A-Wish kids during these unusual times.

SNC will provide video clips from the virtual lunch to anyone who is interested. Please contact Valerie at [email protected] for additional information.
