Written by: Space Foundation Editorial Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Nov. 16, 2022 Space Foundation CEO Tom Zelibor issued the following statement upon the launch of NASA’s Artemis 1 moon mission launch:

“Today’s launch is the first big step to an aspiration held by the space community for years — returning to the Moon. This time we do it with more industry partners and innovations, as well as global participation than the Apollo era could have imagined. Space Foundation congratulates the Artemis team on today’s launch and the next bold steps to come.”
